SAP Appeal

Students whose financial aid has been suspended because of a GPA lower than 2.000, a completion rate less than 67%, and/or having reached Maximum Time Frame may appeal the suspension if there are extenuating circumstances.  Extenuating circumstances include, but are not limited to the list below.  Having an extenuating circumstance, however, is no guarantee that an appeal will be granted.  Appropriate documentation is also suggested below; letters of support from friends and family are not considered official documentation.  A separate copy of this form must be completed for each extenuating circumstance.  More information on the KCTCS SAP Policy can be found at: http://www.kctcs.edu/Students/Costs_and_Financial_Aid.aspx

The student is responsible for payment arrangements with the institution pending a decision of the appeals committee.
